Nikki’s clinical experiences include working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children and young adults with emotional and behavioral disorders, and pregnant and birthing folx. Nikki has personal experience with unmedicated childbirth, and as a single parent to two children, she understands the struggles and needs specific to parenthood. She also has a heart for those experiencing loss and grief.

Madison Michel, MT-BC

Madison Michel, MT-BC, Neonatal ICU Music Therapist, graduated from The University of Alabama with her BM in Music Therapy with a principle in voice in 2015, interned with Heart and Harmony Music Therapy, and is currently pursuing her MM in Music Therapy from Colorado State University (distance).
In addition, she has her NICU-MT (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit music therapist) certification. Madison is fascinated by the interaction of music and the brain, and with her advanced studies, she strives to implement the latest research techniques to the benefit of her clients and obtain her NMT (Neurologic Music Therapist) certification.

Miranda Rex, MA, MT-BC

Miranda is an alumnae of Texas Woman’s University and is currently in the process of receiving her second master’s degree in clinical and mental health counseling at TWU.
Miranda’s clinical experience includes children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioral health disorders, as well as teens and adults with substance use and trauma-related disorders. Within these populations, Miranda has worked with groups and individuals in-home health and both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Annie Roberson, MT-BC

Annie is an alumnae of the University of Alabama and a graduate of Heart and Harmony’s internship program.
Annie’s clinical experience includes NICU infants, children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children and teens with emotional and behavioral disorders, adults in oncology units, and adults with dementia in memory care units.
